My name is Ally and I am a nurse who has committed to a life and health and wellness. Growing up I was fairly athletic and could eat whatever I wanted. I’ve never been thin but I maintained a curvy, healthy physique until my early 20s. Then life happened and the scale began to creep up and up and up! To lose the extra weight I’d gained, I decided to try a diet that my friend recommended and this began a 15-year cycle of being on diets, having some success, and then gaining back all that I lost plus a little extra after the diet was over. In that 15 year span, I tried almost every diet/ fitness program in the book. Throughout each diet, my sweet tooth never went away, my desire for variety never went away and I had to learn how to adapt. After my years of unintentional research, I feel like I have finally cracked the code to this whole fitness/ weight loss thing. My ultimate goal is to help people reach their weight loss goals and save them time from trying diets that aren’t exactly suited for them.

I am currently working on a project that will chronicle all the diets I have been on. I will categorize them according to cost, ‘pallet preferences’-- ex. best suited for people who like sweets, people who like salty, savory fans, carnivores, veggie lovers etc and also ease of use.
